How to replace a
headlight bulb
Access to headlight bulbs varies enormously according to the bike you
have, and the type of headlight fitted, and if it is not obvious then you
need to refer to your manual or handbook for specific details. Before
you start make sure the ignition switch is turned off.
Retro-style headlights
1 If you have an old or retro-style
headlight, with a beam unit held
in a chromed shell, you need
to undo the one or two screws
that hold the beam unit, pull the
bottom away from the shell then
release the tab at the top.
